Art teaches life lessons – whether creating it or appreciating it! Through art, students of all ages can appropriately – and freely – express their own feelings while benefiting from cognitive and physical development, strengthening problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, developing a sense of goal-setting, and nurturing social skills that are critical inside and outside the classroom walls. Art has the capacity to engage all life-long learners, regardless of exceptionalities. This exhibition will showcase the 2-D and 3-D artwork produced by Kindergarten through 12th grade ESE students currently enrolled in visual arts courses in Pinellas County Schools.
On April 12th, each student with work on display will receive a personalized art certificate of recognition at our opening reception and the gallery will remain open until 8 PM as part of the 2nd Saturday St. Pete Art Walk.
