Established in 2022, Sokołowski Trombone Project is a Jazz Trombone Ensemble (also referred to as a Bone Band) made up of 4 trombonists and 3 rhythm section players. The ensemble’s goals consist of promoting innovative arrangements for the trombone, while also continuing to contribute original and modern music in various different styles. Recently, Sokolowski Trombone Project won the International Trombone Association’s Kai Winding Jazz Trombone Ensemble Competition and were featured performers at the 2023 International Trombone Festival in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah.
