This open mic is anything but blah!

Bring your finest prose or a true story to share. Everyone gets 7 minutes on the stage to present their work after a reading by this month’s featured author, Aramis Calderon, who will read from his latest title, “Fugitive Son.”

The Open Mic Rules:
1. Every reader gets 7 minutes to share their work.
2. We’ll limit each event to just 10 readers.
3. Toss your name in the bucket when you arrive. Names will be chosen at random.

Aramis Calderon is a Marine veteran with a pen. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Tampa. His work has been published in The Deadly Writers Patrol, Military Experience & the Arts, and So Say We All. Dismount is his debut novel. He currently resides around Tampa, Florida where every week he meets with fellow veteran writers in the DD-214 Writers’ Workshop.
